Detroit Zoo Wayfinding System
The overall objective of this project is to redesign a wayfinding system for Detroit Zoo. Their current wayfinding system could be updated and improved to be more visible to their visitors, accessible, easier to navigate between the different sections of the zoo, and compliments the zoo’s overall branding. The new set of wayfinding materials would include directional signage for parking, informational signage for parking location, directional signage for navigating through the zoo, and one decorative piece of signage to be cohesive with the new branding.
The new signage would also include a redesign of the zoo’s map to be more simplistic to the visitors. The intended audience includes families, young kids, and annual pass holders who have a love for the zoo.
