For this project, students will design an iPhone application, using Figma, that provides a service or is task-oriented for users. For this project, students will identify a need based on a topic they are interested in. The topic must be service/task-oriented, meaning it will provide something for the user (whether that be providing a service such as meal delivery or enabling them to complete tasks such as time management or learning something). The task can also be to purchase a product.

Experience Design
Today, we have access to millions of applications through our mobile devices. The average person has between 60-90 apps downloaded on their smartphone, yet is reported to only use 25 of those apps a month. Apps help us communicate, track fitness/health goals, order food, navigate to destinations, and so much more. App design/development is a crowded space, so the question is: how might we create an app that will stand out and meet a need of potential users? Our goals for this project will be to generate an app design, based on user-centered research.
